I would like to welcome you to the Carrousel Bed and Breakfast in the quiet village of Cayuga. Cayuga is located in Haldimand County on the Grand River. My B&B is situated on land that once was a part of the County Court House properties and was originally used as the County fairgrounds.
The family home was built on these empty lands in 1974.
With my children grown, I decided to start a B&B in 2002 and wanting to honour the history of the fairgrounds I named it the Carrousel. I have used the fairground theme to decorate my home with bells, music boxes and large carousels.
In May 28, 2016, I married Bill Lutes and now together we operate the B&B.
I am an active member of the Cayuga Chamber of Commerce and Chair the South Coast B&B Association, which is an organization of B&B’s in Haldimand and Norfolk Counties. I am a Member of FOBBA, which is a regulatory organization for B&B’s in Ontario.
The experience is well worth the drive and the enjoyment of staying at any B&B. Hosts love to welcome you to their unique homes. They want you to rest, relax and refresh yourself. Each home is decorated to their tastes and many have antiques and unique features. The quietness, the privacy, the relaxation of the grounds and outdoor settings are unique to each home. A leisurely breakfast and social conversation is awaiting you.
